Microsoft a few months ago presented its new operating system, Windows 11. This new OS is loaded with interesting news ranging from design as well as operation. These are each of the problems and improvements that the Redmond will implement with their updates.
The latest problem that has been discovered from Windows 11 seems to be inherited from Windows 10, as reported by some users, the new operating system is creating hundreds of thousands of empty folders in the Win32 directory.

All these empty folders that Windows 11 is creating in the Win32 directory have to do with the Provisioning Package Runtime Processing tool, which are created with the file name ProvTool.exe, and apparently, they can be deleted without causing problems to the operating system .
This is not a new problem, since it comes from generation to generation, its first appearance was in 2019 with Windows 10 and it seems that it has also made the leap to the new Windows.
This problem doesn't cause any problems on your Windows 11 PC, it just takes up a bit of space on your storage drive. If you want to check if your PC is affected and you want to clean it, you can do so by going to the following address:
C: \ Windows \ System32 \ config \ systemprofile \ AppData \ Local
